ORLANDO -- Casey Anthony entered a plea of not guilty Friday to charges that she killed her missing daughter, Caylee.
The plea came three days after a grand jury indicted her on charges that also included aggravated child abuse, aggravated manslaughter and four counts of lying to investigators about the disappearance of the 3-year-old.
Having entered the plea, Casey will not have to show up for her arraignment, scheduled for Oct. 28.
A second court date is set for Nov. 5 for the child neglect and check fraud charges.
The plea came as investigators announced they are testing and reviewing a small dress found in the woods last weekend that they described as "very, very similar" to a dress belonging to Caylee Anthony. See previous story.
