ORLANDO -- Several people are recovering this morning, including an Orange County sheriff's deputy, after a fiery crash Tuesday night.
It happened at Orlando Central Parkway and Orange Blossom Trail.
The deputy's vehicle caught fire during the crash.
A good Samaritan used a fire extinguisher to put out the flames.
"They didn't know how to use it properly, so I grabbed it and just started putting the fire out, to keep (the fire) off the guy and officer, because it was shooting up pretty high," said Bill McCraney.
Five people were taken to the hospital, including the deputy.
A police dog was also involved in the crash but was not hurt. Everyone is expected to be OK.
