The father of a world class, record-setting inline skater has been sentenced to six years in prison for giving his son steroids.
James Gahan, 41, is believed to be the first person convicted of providing illegal performance-enhancing drugs to an athlete.
Gahan's son Corey was stripped of his national title and other medals because of the drugs. He is no longer allowed to skate in the USA Roller Sports
Gahan provided authorities with information for other investigations -- including the probe into Signature Pharmacy in Orlando.
The pharmacy was linked to steroid use among professional athletes.
