The Army Corps of Engineers is set to expand its search Monday for old World War II bombs in one Orange County neighborhood.
The Tivoli Gardens subdivision is next to get an extensive search. It comes just hours after crews blew up 400 pounds of explosives found at nearby Odyssey Middle School.
It's been more than six months since people living in that neighborhood first found out their homes sit on top of an old military bombing range.
They said they're not getting enough information about what's going on, and only received a written notice on their doors about the upcoming search.
"It would have been better if they had come and explained to us what is going on and what is happening, and what can we do as far as, being here when they do inspections," said Louise Applequist, a resident of Tivoli Gardens.
The search of the Tivoli Gardens subdivision is expected to take two weeks.
