A former JetBlue Airways worker will spend the next six years in prison for trying to smuggle guns out of Orlando International Airport.

Hiram Rivera-Ortiz, 35, was sentenced Thursday.

He was working at OIA last year when he agreed to transport four handguns and two machine guns to Puerto Rico on board a commercial airliner for $4,500.

The only problem is he was dealing with an undercover agent.

Ortiz will also serve three years probation after getting out of prison and pay a $100 fine.
