Defense Rests In Wesley Snipes Case

The Wesley Snipes tax evasion trial in Ocala is heading to the jury.
The defense rested its case Monday morning without calling any witnesseses
The prosecution took about two weeks to present its case.

At the beginning of the trial a list of celebrity character witnesses for Snipes was admitted, but none of those witnesses were called.
Closing arguments are next and then the jury will take the case.
Snipes is on trial on charges of tax fraud and willful failure to file millions of dollars in tax returns. He faces up to 16 years in prison.
