A pyramid-shaped home has a lot of drivers slowing down to take notice.
The house in Winter Park is also the main reason for an ongoing feud between longtime neighbors.
Chris Langdon lives with his mother, who suffers from emphysema. His biggest complaint is that dust he feels is dangerous is finding its way into their home.
"The cement dust is real light, and it carries with the wind,” Langdon said. “It gets through crevices in the doors, and the windows, even when they're closed. And it's very damaging to the lungs."
"His mom's a nice lady,” said Lambert, the owner of the house. “She's a great lady. They're great neighbors. They've been there for a long time. I wouldn't want them to be upset with us, and I don't want to make anything worse for them."
Lambert is offering to pay for a protective plastic covering that protect parts of his neighbor's house that could be risk for dust.
Contractors said most of the major construction should be complete by the end of the month.
