KidCare Brings More Health Insurance To Kids

More kids woke up Tuesday with health and dental insurance in Seminole County.

It was all due to an effort to make more Florida kids healthy.

Parents signed up for KidCare in Sanford at Monday's kickoff in Sanford.

KidCare is the state program for uninsured children.

They also took advantage of some other incentives, iIncluding free school supplies.

Organizers said 500,000 children in Florida are eligible to sign up for the program.
