Commuter rail plans hit a rough patch Monday, but continued to chug along Tuesday as Seminole County voted 5 to 0 in favor of the project.
Monday, the Orlando City Council became the second to approve the $615 million system, joining Orange County who voted last week.
Monday, Osceola County voted to delay its decision for a week. They want to further study how best to pay for their plan.
The Osceola County vote is now set for July 30, the same day Volusia County will vote.
The 61-mile proposed rail would run from DeLand to Poinciana and be built in two phases -- the first scheduled to open in 2010.
