A national registered traveler program that took off at Orlando International Airport turns two years old Thursday, and it just keep getting bigger.
Clear is a program where people who register are pre-screened by the TSA and given a biometric card that allows them to pass through security lines faster.
Biometrics means you are identified through fingerprint and iris scans.
There are now 50,000 people registered with the program, and officials are announcing even more growth.
As of Thursday, Clear can be found at Newark International Airport. Plans are also in the works for an expansion to Albany, N.Y. and Little Rock, Ark.
In addition to new cities, officials also announced a partnership with Airtran Airways for marketing and promotion.
"The airlines are now on our side, initially they were leery of the whole program and we've proven our value," said Clear Founder and CEO Steven Brill.
Clear is planning a national ad campaign for print, radio, and online outlets. That campaign will feature quotes from Orlando travelers.
