Orlando Police met with people in the Parramore district to talk about the department's All Hand's On Deck crime crackdown initiative.
Operation All Hands on Deck went into effect June 10 to address the rise in violent crime.
Orlando Police identified hot zones and put additional officers on the street to stomp out crime.
Officers say many of the folks living in Parramore are happy to have more cops patrolling their streets.
Despite the positive feedback from some neighbors, many neighborhoods have criticized the program, saying crime has just spread elsewhere.
Police say they are also reevaluating, and assessing the program to see if any changes can be made to improve it.
