Orange County officials are still searching for a man they say shot and killed another man outside Johnny's Caribbean Restaurant at the intersection of Colonial Drive and Constantine Ave.
Authorities say the shooting happened shortly after 3:30 p.m. Friday. According to witnesses, 22-year-old Jesse Cesar left a barber shop next to the restaurant, turned the corner and that's when the suspect shot him.
"We have witnesses who had several gunshots,” Jim Solomons from the Orange County Sheriff’s Deputies said. “Once deputies got on scene, it was evident victim was shot several times by what we think is a semi automatic handgun. He was pronounced dead at the scene."
Investigators believe the shooting may be retaliation for an incident in South Florida.
Authorities describe the suspect-at-large as a dark-skinned man wearing a Jamaican hat.
