Right now, dozens of golfers from across the U.S. are fine tuning their games in preparation for the 1st Annual Celebrity/Amputee Golf Tournament in Clermont.

News 13 caught up with two players who don’t allow multiple leg amputations keep them from playing the sport they love.
    
Both men who hope their example will inspire others.

"One of the great things about golf it is the most accessible sport to people who have disabilities because you don't have the running or the jumping,” tournament chairman Ken Peck said. “We can stand here and compete with other golfers despite being amputees."

Amputee golfer Don Hoddess said: "Right now, my purpose is to get out there to show people, yeah, tragedy can befall you. But life goes, and you'll be able to live a happy life, and hopefully show other people they can do the same."

The 1st Annual Celebrity/Amputee Golf Tournament is being held April 20 and 21 at the Legends Golf and County Club in Clermont.
