Brevard Tax Ad

Leaders in one Central Florida county are taking the debate over tax reform to the media.
Brevard County has an ad in Sunday's editions of Florida Today warning of a financial crisis if the drastic property tax cuts are passed by lawmakers in Tallahassee this week. The ad highlights more than 50 possible cuts if property taxes are scaled back.
The ad costs $12,000.
The county commission will hold a special meeting Tuesday evening at the Government Center in Viera to discuss these cuts. It starts at 5 p.m.
