The National Transportation Safety Board is in Volusia County to investigate a deadly plane crash.
Sky 13 flew over the scene Sunday along Hawks Nest Drive, which is in the Spruce Creek Fly-In in Port Orange.
Investigators say the Beechcraft Baron twin engine plane had just taken off when it did made a hard turn, flipped upside down and then crashed in a field near a home.
The pilot, 67-year-old Frederic Gray Jr., was the only man on board. He was found dead at the scene.
No buildings were damaged.
The FAA and NTSB will investigate exactly what happened.
