A Polk County man is accused of setting two women on fire and shooting another man.
One of the women was six-months pregnant.
Leon Davis, Jr. turned himself into the sheriff's office Thursday night.
Thursday afternoon, authorities said Davis walked into a Nationwide Insurance office in Lake Wales demanding money.
Davis was reportedly not satisfied with the amount of money he was given, threw gasoline on the women and set them on fire.
Several people watched as the burning women -- Yvonne Bustamonte and Jane Luciono, who is pregnant -- ran for their lives out the back door.
"They were completely burned, to the point that you couldn't really see what they were," said one man.
Police said Brandon Griessman, 34, a city employee, saw smoke and came running.
A friend of Griessman, who did not want to be identified, described what happened next.
"Brandon asked what was going on and the man just shot him. He shot three times and Brandon fell to the ground. He was shot in the nose," the woman said.
As people tried to help the three victims, witnesses said Davis left the scene.
"We watched him put the gun back into his lunch pail and he just walked down the street like he didn't have a care in the world," Griessman's friend said.
Bustamonte, 26, and Luciono, 23, were flown to Orlando hospitals. Both women remain in critical condition.
A former manager at the insurance agency said Davis cancelled his insurance police with the company last week.
