Teen Uses Ax To Attack Teen Dating His Mother

A 17-year-old is in jail in Lake County after police said he admitted that he attacked a friend with an ax.
Investigators in Tavares said the teen went after 19-year-old Jody Ross over the weekend because he discovered the older teen was dating his mother.
The 17-year-old has been charged with attempted murder.
Ross was taken to the hospital, but doctors said he is stable and will probably recover.
