Hundreds of shuttle workers are putting down their picket signs and returning to work.
Nearly 500 members of the machinists union went on strike in June. Last week, the union and United Space Alliance returned to the bargaining table and hashed out a new contract.
On Sunday, union members met in Cape Canaveral and heard the details of the contract. Union officials said they didn’t love it, but it was approved since the strikers wanted to get back to work.
They said they still plan to continue negotiations to make the contract better.
Workers are expected back on the job on Thursday.
