An Orlando family has been forced to sleep on their floor and endure painful bites from bed bugs.
According to Zaneen Thompson, the tiny critters have been biting her in her sleep.
Thompson, along with her husband and their kids, were forced to throw out mattresses and wash all of their clothes, but the bugs are still there.
Zaneen Thompson said the Royal Grande Apartments offered her $300 in compensation for the mattresses, but that is not enough to cover the furniture and doctors visits.
"We're forced to throw out all our stuff," Thompson said. "We've asked to be moved. they wouldn't move us, because we run risk of infesting other apartments."
News 13 tried to contact the regional manager for Royal Grande Apartments Wednesday, but the calls were never returned.
