On Thursday, the Army Corps of Engineers plans to detonate live bombs found at the old Pine Castle Range near Odyssey Middle School.

The Corps of Engineers said the latest find was about 700 to 1,000 feet south of the school. The school is not affected and is safe.

The discovery consisted of two rockets and one rifle grenade, found on undeveloped land.  The Army said that as they continue to examine what is called the Mockingbird property south of the school, they do expect to find more munitions, and would deal with them as they find them.

Neighbors News 13 talked to in the area said they are hoping constant news that the Army is dealing with bombs found at the range will keep their property values sliding.
