Some Central Florida business owners are taking advantage of a new plan, which lets them save big bucks on energy costs.

The program allows business owners to get a government rebate if they install solar energy panels to power their facilities.

The panels normally cost over $250,000.

Some businesses can save 6,000 gallons of oil a year by switching to the new power and it is not just the business that benefits.

William Garity the President of The Energy Outlet said, "What would happen is, the system, if it's making more power than the building is using, it will go back to your power system, the grid, and be redistributed to the neighborhood."

The owner of this business in Holly Hill says he will see a dip in his energy costs immediately.
