The family of a man murdered earlier this year is holding a blood drive Saturday in his memory, and in the memory of everyone killed in Orlando's record breaking year for murders.
Twenty-nine-year-old Noel Heimburg was walking up the stairs to his apartment at Marina Landing in the Metrowest area in February when he was shot.
No arrests have been made in the case.
The family says they're organizing the blood drive because 50 pints of blood was used to try and save Heimburg's life.
The drive is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Florida's Blood Centers on Community Circle in Orlando.
