Teacher Accused Of Inappropriately Touching Students

John Morrison, an elementary school teacher, is under arrest, accused of inappropriately touching two students.

DUNNELLON -- An elementary school teacher is under arrest, accused of inappropriately touching two students.

John Morrison, 62, works at Romeo Elementary School.

Deputies said a 7-year-old reports Morrison had her sit on his lap and then moved his hands up her leg.

An 8-year-old also came forward saying Morrison touched her inappropriately as well while he was showing a movie in class with the lights off.

Deputies said Morrison admitted the acts with both students were inappropriate.

Morrison is charge with lewd and lascivious molestation, as well as one count of battery.
