ORLANDO -- A teacher at Lake Como Elementary School is recovering at home after showing flu symptoms, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
Earlier in week, 12 Orange County students ranging from elementary- to high-school age were removed from class at 11 different schools after showing flulike symptoms.
It was not immediately known if the teacher or any of the students had the H1N1 flu virus, as it shows similar symptoms to the more familiar flu.
Lake Como Elementary’s principal joined the school district in urging students and faculty to wash their hands, cover their mouths when they cough, and see a doctor if they might be sick.
