We know that exercise is good for your overall health, and now the latest research shows exercise can reduce, but not eliminate, the risk of heart disease in overweight and obese women.
Researchers found that even high quantities of physical activity are unlikely to fully reverse the risk of coronary heart disease in overweight and obese women without concurrent weight loss.
These findings highlight the importance of counseling all women to participate in increasing amounts of regular physical activity and maintaining a healthy weight to reduce the risks of coronary heart disease.
New Reason For Marriage
There a lot of people who are now getting married for the health insurance.
According to a new poll, 7 percent of respondents said they, or someone they lived with, decided to get married in the last year in order either to have access to health insurance benefits or to give their new spouse access.
At a time when the typical family health plan costs upwards of $12,000 a year, sharing a group policy number is more than a token way to say "I love you." and gives new meaning to "in sickness and in health."
Health care concerns are high right now.
In fact, 28 percent of people in the study said paying for healt hcare or health insurance was a "serious problem."
Nearly a quarter of the people interviewed for the latest study said that within the past year they or someone they lived with had either taken a new job or stayed with their current one because of better health benefits.
