Your daily cup of coffee may do more than perk you up in the morning. It might also reduce your risk for blood sugar disorders.
Recent research shows coffee might decrease your risk of developing diabetes by about 25 percent. However, make it black. People who add sugar to coffee or tea do not get the protective blood sugar effect, and they may run a higher risk of developing cancer of the pancreas
Salmon, sardines, tuna; some types of fish are a good source of omega three fatty acids but there are other sources that may surprise you.

There are some things you need to be aware of when it comes to Omega-3's. Doctors say if you are pregnant or a strict vegetarian and avoid fish entirely, or if you have high triglycerides, you might want to consider Omega-3 supplements as a last resort.
The best advice is to talk to your doctor and be sure to mention any medication you are currently taking, as these supplements can interact with some medications and have adverse side effects.
