It doesn't take much to get dehydrated, especially in Florida's summertime heat.
Some women "glow," while others sweat. Either way, when you exercise, you need to replace your lost "glow" with 8 ounces of water every 15 minutes.
Working up a good sweat is good for you, but in Florida's summertime heat and humidity it can mean a serious fluid loss.
The experts say hydrating before and after you work out is important, and during your workout you should try to down between 8 and 10 ounces of water every 15 or 20 minutes, especially if you're out in the heat.
Exercising while dehydrated can negate the effects of your workout, and be detrimental.
