Lisa Bell, Know Your Numbers
Today's number is mostly just for fun. It's 91 -- that's decibels for the loudest snore ever recorded.
Studies show that almost half of us snore once in a while, especially if we have a stuffy nose, and that is normal.
But those same studies say nearly 25 percent of adults snore all the time, and that can be a sign of obstructive sleep apnea -- a problem that you should consider discussing with your doctor.
By the way you should feel sorry for the spouse of that 91 decibel snorer. Ninety-one decibels is louder than a lawnmower.
