Lisa Bell, Know Your Numbers
This week's number if four -- as in four ways to help get a healthy heart that you might never have heard of before.
For starters, don't skip breakfast. Most heart attacks happen between 7 a.m. and noon and doctors seem to think a healthy breakfast may help prevent that.
Cut down on sweets. The empty calories in your diet leaves room for heart-friendly fiber and nutrients.
Lighten up. People who stress out are more prone to heart trouble.
Meet the "Bs." Vitamin B-6 and B-12 may help prevent heart attacks.
As always, ask your doctor before you start taking anything.
