Lisa Bell, Know Your Numbers
It might be fun, but did you know that kissing actually has some health benefits? It can have at least 5, to be exact.
Go ahead, ladies and gentlemen, pucker up this Valentine's Day. Some researchers believe passionate kissing has health benefits.
Assuming you are smooching someone healthy, the benefits can include the following:
- Reducing plaque
- Easing stress
- Toning jaw and neck muscles
- Boosting the immune system
- Vigorous kissing can even make your lips plump and rosy.
However, if you have been locking lips with somebody with a cold -- we will talk about vitamin C, and whether or not it can really help make you feel better, in the next edition of Know Your Numbers.
