Charlie Gray
J. Charles Gray, a native of Central Florida, serves as Chairman of the Board and founding director of the GrayRobinson Law Firm, where he continues to practice full-time in the 200+ lawyer firm.
Gray has served as City Solicitor for the city of Orlando, Chairman of the Florida State Turnpike Authority, Chairman of the Economic Development Commission of Mid-Florida, Chairman of the University of Central Florida Foundation, and in many other leadership positions.
He served for seven years as County Attorney for Orange County and was involved in developing the county's Tourist Development Plan, the Orange County Civic/Convention Center and the Orange County Comprehensive Growth Plan.
Gray resolved the building moratorium in Orange County by developing a modern waste-water treatment and potable water program using innovative methods and financing, and consolidation of sixteen separate fire districts into one unified county fire department.
Gray organized and served as General Counsel for the Orange County Health Facilities Authority and has represented major developers in large DRIs, comprehensive plan amendments, and major state- and county-negotiated property acquisitions.
Gray and his wife Saundra fulfilled a dream by sailing their yacht Sea Gem around the world.
