Said he never heard Casey refer to the nanny by name, nor did he see her make or take a call from the nanny.

Met with Detective Appling Wells in parking lot of H&B Trading, his place of employment. Said Casey borrowed a shovel, possibly on June 16, 2008. He was doing yard work when Casey approached him and asked to borrow the shovel to dig up bamboo root. Casey then walked into her garage. Her car was in there, which Burner said was unusual. When he was finished with his yard work, Burner went back to the front to see if Casey was finished. Her car was in the garage, and nobody else seemed to be home. She returned the shovel about an hour after borrowing it. Wells recovered the shovel from the Burner house. Burner said Casey was the last person to use the shovel.

Parents of Jeffrey Dale Hopkins II, though Casey said their son was named Zachary, was friends with Caylee and also going to be cared for by Zenaida Gonzalez. Both parents denied any knowledge of Casey Anthony, and said they knew all of their son’s friends. Received a call at 5 a.m. July 16, 2008, identified by their caller ID as “Anthony Casey.” Neither of them answered, and the caller did not leave a voicemail.

Told law enforcement that Casey was on her laptop “doing work” all the time when she was at the apartment, though most of what he saw was her on Facebook. Said Casey talked about the babysitter, but never by name, and no babysitter came to apartment to drop off or pick up Caylee. Said he last saw Caylee June 13, 2008. It was after he came forward with that statement that the Anthony family changed their story, and told about Caylee visiting her great-grandfather at the nursing home.

Casey told her Caylee was with her nanny, who was a friend of hers, but never mentioned the nanny’s name. Said Casey had mentioned that Caylee’s father was deceased. Casey told her she lived with her parents, but that her parents had moved out of the house in early July. Casey also told her that she worked at Universal Studios Florida. Said she felt Casey had a lack of attention toward Caylee.

Kronk said his experience with the Coast Goard as a bail bondsman and bounty hunter helped him recognize something was not right in the area. Because of the media attention, Kronk asked to be transferred to an inventory-control job in a county warehouse.

Did not recognize Caylee when shown a photograph. Confirmed the apartment Casey said she left Caylee in was vacant for 142 days.

First brought his search and recovery group to Central Florida in August to help search for Caylee. The search was temporarily called off after eight days because of environmental conditions and concerns following Tropical Storm Fay. EquuSearch returned in November to search for Caylee's body, but turned up nothing. Miller said early on in the search he believed Caylee was dead, and his group was searching for a body rather than a live girl.

Lived with Amy Huizenga at the time of Caylee's disappearance. In January, a picture was found on Morales' MySpace page showing a man and woman with the caption, "Win her over with chloroform." Morales said he posted the picture around the beginning of 2008, before someone searched for "how to make chloroform" on the Anthonys' home computer.

Spoke with Cindy about Casey’s behavior. Told investigators she started getting MySpace messages from Casey inviting her to go to Club Fusion, starting June 9, 2008, and continuously through June 25. Said she found it odd that Casey was going out so much, as she, also a single mother, herself, could not find time to go out at all. Received a text message from Casey on July 16 reading "Caylee is missing. She has been missing for the last 32 days."

Began dating Casey in March or April 2007, and throughout that summer. Said Casey told him she worked at the Sports Authority at the time. Told investigators their relationship was long-distance and did not work out for long. Saw Casey a few times in May and June 2008, and on June 17, she came to his house, driving a dark-colored Jeep Cherokee. Casey told him she was distressed because her parents were getting divorced, and that her father had cheated on her mother. Said Casey talked about her and Caylee getting house. Said he saw a girl who looked like Casey jogging down Chickasaw Trail around 9:30 a.m. July 15, 2008. He texted Casey and asked if she was running down Chickasaw, but she replied, "no," and that was the end of it. Said he got a text message July 16 about Caylee being missing for 32 days. Casey called him later that night, around 11:30 p.m., from the jail, but he hung up without taking the call. Casey called back a few minutes later, but on the advice of his parents, he did not talk to her, and has not talked to her or seen her since her arrest. Met with George and Cindy Anthony at their house sometime around July 19 to 26, along with more of Casey's friends, giving her parents any information they could about Caylee. Said he brought a bag with Caylee's "scuba-style" swim suit, which has a life-vest sewn into it, as well as inflatable swimming armbands, hair accessories and other items.
