Caylee Marie Anthony

Born Aug. 9, 2005, Caylee lived with her mother and grandparents. She disappeared in June 2008, just over a month shy of her third birthday. On Dec. 19, 2008, the Orange County medical examiner confirmed that human remains found near the Anthony home belonged to Caylee.

Casey Marie Anthony

Born March 19, 1986, in Warren, Ohio, Casey grew up in east Orange County and attended Colonial High School, but did not graduate. Before giving birth to her daughter, Caylee, Casey worked in photography, something her mother described as a passion. Casey lived at home with her parents. She was 20 when she had Caylee, and 22 when her daughter went missing.

Cindy Anthony made the first 911 call reporting Caylee's disappearance. Moments before, Cindy had called to report that her daughter, Casey, had stolen her car and money. Before her granddaughter's disappearance, Cindy worked at a business in Winter Park.

George Anthony

George Anthony, 57, is a retired law enforcement officer who worked in security and/or law enforcement in some capacity before Caylee, disappeared. He and his wife, Cindy, live in their home in east Orange County. George spent 11 days in a Daytona Beach hospital, from Jan. 23 to Feb. 3, after threatening to kill himself.

Lee Alexander Anthony

Casey's older brother, Lee Anthony, 26, spoke and visited with his sister several times while she was in jail. Lee hired attorney Thomas Luka in December, as Luka said his client is considered a witness in the case against Casey.

Alex and Shirley Plesea

Parents of Cindy Anthony

Casey Anthony's grandparents, and Caylee's great-grandparents. Alex was seen holding Caylee in a photo released early in the case, taken at Avante at Mount Dora Nursing and Rehab Center, where Alex lives. The photo confirms Caylee was alive as late as June 15, 2008, when the photo was taken. Casey had stated that she last saw Caylee alive June 9.

Dan, Gary and Rick Plesea

Brothers of Cindy Anthony

Rick Plesea told investigators Casey had stolen money from her mother, and even forged checks belonging to one of her grandparents.
