It's not a monsoon, more like a man-made rain curtain.
The wall of water descends upon this luxury spa, but that's not the main attraction.
In the Lake County community of Bella Collina, you'll find unspoiled views and man-made lakes fit for a king that feature shimmering tile, a sunken counter for entertaining and an edge that doesn't stop.
"This is a perimeter overflow, identify edge pool," John Kirkland of Southern Pool Designs said.
It's a mouth-full of a name for a pool where a sunken, one-inch gutter gives the illusion the pool is flat as a puddle.
"It usually keeps the pool cleaner because anything that blows in can spill over at any point and be removed," he said.
But the homeowner won’t have to worry about cleaning the pool or the spa imported from Italy. A series of water jets pop out of the bottom of the pool in the middle of the night and clean it before dawn.
Kirkland said this gem was designed by a computer in the United States, but the tile came from Italy, along with blueprints detailing the nine-month construction process.
"We had to assemble it like a jigsaw puzzle," he said.
The disappearing edge located upstairs flows into a "sunken bar" area downstairs.
"When you're entertaining, this is additional seating," Kirkland said.
Meanwhile, the pool down the street is just as fancy and comes with underwater viewing windows.
How much does all this wet luxury costs? Enough to sink the average wallet.
"This pool is going to put you out about $580,000,” Kirkland said.
To put things in perspective, the average Orlando home price in February was $289,000 according to housingtracker.net.
Just don't splash too hard.
