‘Old Dogs’ Premieres In Travolta’s Native Ocala

OCALA -- John Travolta and his family made an appearance at the Central Florida premiere of his latest Disney film, “Old Dogs.”
The premiere was the family’s first public appearance in their adopted Florida hometown since the film star’s 16-year-old son, Jett, died earlier in the year in the Bahamas.
Travolta thanked the Ocala crowd for their prayers during the their time of grief.
The private screening helped raise nearly $37,000 for five nonprofit groups, including the Jett Travolta Foundation.
