ORLANDO -- Wrestlemania XXIV madness took center stage at the Citrus Bowl Sunday night, highlighted by the forced retirement of Ric Flair.
In a "win or retire" match, Ric Flair fell to Shawn Michaels, aka the Heartbreak Kid, in front of a sold out crowd at the Citrus Bowl.
Following his defeat, Flair had tears streaming down his cheeks as he said farewell to 35 years and millions of fans.
Flair spoke with Central Florida On Demand's John Handiboe late last week, and although he was optimistic about victory, he became teary-eyed contemplating possible retirement. You can watch the interview on Central Florida On Demand, Bright House Networks cable channel 300.
In other matches, Floyd "Money" Mayweather beat the Big Show in the Mixed Martial Arts match with a knockout, despite the fact that the Big Show is twice Mayweather's size.
After a spectacularly ghoulish entrance, the Undertaker defeated defending World Heavyweight Champion Edge, for his first victory against the Rated-R Superstar, and improving his WrestleMania record to an unprecidented 16-0.
In the triple threat match for the WWE Championship, Randy Orton successfully defended his title against Triple H and John Cena in front of a crowd of 74,635 spectators.
