Brevard County is a new backlot for film production.
Director Ray Etheridge is completing his ninth film, "Dying for Dollars", at a Palm Bay house. The film is about a family fighting over the inheritance of a dead grandmother.
The actors are all from local theatre groups, but Guy D. Wells, who plays the character of Benny, is known for his work on several soap operas. Etheridge says many of his actors have gone on to do work in commercials and feature films.
