Think you have what it takes to out run the American Gladiators on "The Wall?"

Get laced up and get ready to get tangled up.

"I'm going to go over the knots for the class. There are going to be three knots," said Josh Simpson, a trainer.

Inside a warehouse in Longwood, families and weekend warriors can play gladiator by literally hitting the wall.

The Aiguille Rock Climbing Center is home to several climbing walls for beginners and experts.

"This is my first time," said Christine Bornstein from Apopka.

Bornstein allowed me to join her group of friends. Like all beginners, we get a lesson before heading north.

"So let's get started on the first knot," said Simpson.

Simpson helps folks of all ages get started climbing.

"Anybody can do this," said Simpson.

He started just like us three years ago, and never stopped.

"They offered me a job," said Simpson.

He says climbers often become enthusiasts.

"First day I signed up for a membership before I left, and everyday since then, it's been three times a week," said Simpson.

Josh is not alone.

"I brought my brother Thursday, and I brought my friend David today to see if he wanted to join," said Austin Lasky, an 8th grader.

Lasky can scale a wall faster than any American Gladiator, and has a good time doing it.

"Climbing is pretty much the most fun thing you could ever do. It trains all of your muscles. It's really good for your health. But it does hurt," said Lasky.
