Four Central Florida women called the Pink Angels are hitting breast cancer head-on.

The Pink Angels' mission is simple --  to help find a cure for the disease. They are making their mark on the dirt track.

At the track at the Orlando Watersports Complex, the dirt bikes roar around the track. Everybody at the race paid $25  to watch the race and support the Pink Angels. The group are trying to raise $2,200 to participate in a 3-day, 60 mile walk from Tampa to St. Petersburg to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

"We have friends and families and grandmas who've lost their battle to breast cancer and so we feel it's a good cause," said Jamie Darby, of the Pink Angels.

"I thought it was really cool because if I had, if I would've had the chance to do it, I would do that to help cure people for breast cancer," said Austin Collins, a Mini Moto-X Racer.

If racing isn't your thing, people can show their spirt through their clothes.  The Pink Angels said they are doing the race for all the women who are affected by the disease.  They hope that more people will join them in their Race For A Reason next year.

The Pink Angels have a little more than a week and less than $600 to go before they make their official entry in to the race.
