Thirty Brevard Community College faculty, staff and students
hopped at a chance to raise awareness and money for a residential
center.
The second annual Rabbit Run is an event planned by
the Honors Community Involvement Class to benefit the Sue M.
Pridmore Center for Women and Children. The students spent the
spring semester exploring community resources available for
families in need.
As a class project, they organized and held a 3K race, donated
$200 and handed over a large assortment of toiletries, toys and
clothes to the center.
Several local businesses pitched in gift certificates and
donated goods to help the students help women and children.
