WEST PALM BEACH -- Unemployed Floridians have a chance to earn some cash and attend one of the biggest sporting events in America.

A West Palm Beach company is hiring up to 1,000 people to work security at the upcoming Super Bowl and Pro Bowl, both being played at Miami this season.

A & A Security was held a job fair Friday at its office in South Florida, but if you couldn’t make it, you can still call (561) 0533-5303 if you are interested in the job.

The company said it worked for months to secure the contract for security at the high-profile NFL events.

Qualified jobseekers will hold a security license or be willing to sign up for a 24-hour training course.

The job runs from Jan. 7 to Feb. 20, 2010.

This marks the first time the Pro Bowl will be played outside Honolulu in 30 years, and the first time ever the Pro Bowl will be held before the Super Bowl.
