Propane Preparation

Wet weather and summer storms are a recipe for disaster in the kitchen.

Together, they could cause a power outage at your home leaving your family hungry.

Preparing for the worst may be the best families can do to get ready for hurricane season.

Now is the time to make sure your propane tank is full.  Many retailers offer customers to swap tanks for a small fee, refill an existing tank, or buy a few to have on hand, in case you need them.

Cooking on your grill is the next best thing until the power comes back on.

During hurricane season, News 13's team of meteorologists will have tropical updates at  21 minutes and 51 minutes past every hour.
